A KN95 | FFP2 mask meets a certain international standard. It is a personal protective device that can reduce the risk of the wearer inhaling dangerous particles in the air (including infectious bacteria and viruses). It is capable of filtering at least 95% of very small (0.3 micron) particles from the air.
How long can a KN95 | FFP2 face mask be used?
All KN95 | FFP2 face masks can only be used by one person. Under no circumstances should they be used together with another person.
The mask can be used multiple times.
You must change the mask in time:
- When the respiratory impedance increases noticeably (breathing becomes difficult);
- if the mask is damaged or deformed;
- if the mask is no longer close to your face;
- if the mask is contaminated (e.g. because it has been contaminated with blood stains or droplets);
- if the mask has been used in a hospital ward or in patient contact (because the mask may have become contaminated).
To dispose of your KN95 | FFP2 face mask safely, place it in a plastic bag and throw it in the trash. Wash your hands after handling the used mask.
