SIM card required

All you need is a standard SIM card. One affordable option, for example, is the ALDI Talk Mini tariff for €2.90 a month, which includes 500 MB of data – you’ll never use more than a tiny fraction of that. Apart from the cost of the device and the standard SIM card, there are no further charges!

The SIM card must first be activated in a mobile phone. You must then disable the PIN entry for the SIM card via the mobile phone; otherwise, it will not work in the GPS tracker.

Simple and accurate tracking

Install the AKHS app on your smartphone. The username for logging in is the device ID, which is printed on the packaging and on the device itself. The initial password is: 123456

The app’s language is the language of your smartphone, e.g. German. Via the ‘Tracking’ field, you can view the device’s charge status and further information. Using the two round navigation buttons at the bottom left, you can select the app for displaying the location, such as Google Maps or Apple Maps (iOS Maps). Select your preferred app and you will see your device’s location on the world map, which you can zoom in on to within a few metres.

Under optimal conditions, civilian GPS accuracy is between 1 and 3 metres, and even under poor physical conditions it remains at 5 metres.

Motion Alarm

Under ‘Command’, you can activate the motion alarm using the ‘Vibration alarm on’ function. To do this, you should also enter a 1 in ‘Speed alarm setting’. You will then receive an alarm notification as soon as the device moves.
