Hyp-Tech Pulsoximeter
A pulse oximeter measures the oxygen content in your blood and the pulse rate. This ultra-modern device from Hyp-Tech is equipped with a US-American import chip and has proven itself thousands of times over in private practice, in hospitals and in private households. It is very easy to use: switch it on, insert your finger and wait for the measurement result for 15 seconds.
An oxygen content (SpO2 value) between 93 and 99 percent is normal and any value above 90 percent is harmless to health. The pulse oximeter from Hyp-Tech measures the SpO2 value between 70 and 100 percent with a tolerance of ± 2 percent. If the value is well below 90 percent, you should seek medical help.
Doctors have been using pulse oximeters as an immediate warning system for corona since spring 2020. A fully developed disease of corona leads to a decrease in the amount of oxygen in the blood. Conversely, however, too low a SpO2 value can have completely different causes. It occurs, for example, at high altitudes, when there is an excessive amount of CO2 in the air and in lung diseases of various kinds, which need not have anything to do with corona.
Two AAA batteries are required for operation, which are not included in the scope of delivery.
